Wave 6. The Business of Social is part of UM’s ongoing researched programme aimed at exploring the massive changes occurring in communication technologies. It demonstrates that even supply responding to a costumer’s problems creates more loyalty and advocacy than any reward programme. The drivers of change are the social network platforms such as Twitter, are incredibly powerful tools for costumer feedback. Using them in pro-active way to deal with problems very quickly is a proven and powerful driver if loyalty.

This drivers brought many changes in our culture and our way of ife because as the member of devices that the consumer can use to access the internet grows, unsurprisingly, time spent online, including time spent on social networks, also Media consumption and this is already having an determental effect on traditional print media, although not an immediately catastrophic one.


These changes are beneficial because one of the most valuable commodeties that a social business can own is data. Many are commercializing their platforms by delivering targeted advertising based on a user’s data and preferences. However, despite this concern, its clear that social media is becoming an increasingly important facet of social lif. We see a huge rise in the number of people saying that the social networks are fundamemtal to their social life. While many brands see this as an opportunity, using paid and owned brand assets to drive earned media, just as many doit. A natural fear of amplifying issues around the brand are legitimate concern. Once negative comment can quickly grow to become a real threat to a brands reputation. It can compare to other or to its neighbors. Because in Philippines is also using social media to their business. They use social Media to grow their business. They advertising through Media. It is also use to gather more costumers. Social Media can help us to created a business through online. We can also earned more money through social Media. In Philippines some of the Filipinos are dependent in media.

We learned on how to use the media in a good way. Social experience can be powerful. It can creating strong connection with consumer. We need also to know the limitations and value that can bring. In wave 6 shows that the future the biggest impact will come the increasing amount of time people are spending on them. It’s concerns goes hand in hand with the growing importance that Social networks are now playing in users lives
